Ganesha sits in his usual Utkutasana posture on a multilayered pedestal and right leg supported on the back of his revered mooshak.
This colorful god is decked up in vibrant colors of red, blue and green square stones and looks forward to eat his ever-so-favorite motichoor laddoo in his left hand; right hand holds the broken tusk symbolic of his sincerity and dedication.
The golden stole that hangs down his shoulders forms an absolute contrast to the red and blue colored garment that he wears over his upper body. The necklace like border of circular motifs has diamond-like studded stones that match with the flower patterns on his unique bright sea-green dhoti.
Ganesha is also the god of the sacred three letters (A-U-M), as he is the Supreme Being just as this mantra; his rear hands hold the famous implements- conch reminding him of elephant’s happy trumpeting and a pasa to draw close the loved ones.
The big floppy ears adorned in green and the edampuri trunk that reaches the laddoo displays lifelike characteristics. Haloed triangular crown is carved dexterously with a feather like broch glorified in the centre. The radiant face of Vighnaharta portrays his calm and patient nurture and nature for his devotees.
