This lovely brass wall hanging portraying Nritya Ganapati, or dancing Ganesha, dancing atop an ornate Ganesha head, is a lovely homage to the deity of the arts. The Nritya Ganapati is seen in his traditional Gajahasta stance, with his upper left hand pointing downwards. In the nritya position, his right foot is slightly lifted. He has four arms and rings on all of his fingers. His hands are adorned with a tusk, a goad, a noose, and his favorite sweet, modaka. Worshipping Nritya Ganapati is thought to grant believers expertise and prosperity in the fine arts. The lower Ganapati head has a lengthy trunk embellished with a bell.
