Standing in an erect and still pose, Vishnu in this Panchaloha icon conveys an active yet unmovable presence, like an omnipresent guardian who protects the Universe.

Sculpted in a rounded manner, Vishnu stands on a two-tiered lotus pedestal, inspired by the traditional Chola bronzes from where this iconography originated and developed.
