Aparmita, also known as Amitayus in Tibet, is closely associated with the longevity attribute of Amitabha Buddha. The name "Amitayus" translates to "infinite life" in Sanskrit, symbolizing his connection with immortality. He is one of the three Tibetan deities of long life, alongside White Tara and Namgyalma. Aparmita can be seen in the padmasana (lotus pose), holding an "amrita" vessel on his lap, representing immortality. The Aparmita statue's vase is lavishly adorned with intricate decorations, showcasing its significance in the symbolism of immortality and longevity. Four strings of beads gracefully hang from the cover of the vase, symbolizing sacred pills.
