The darbar or court of Sri Ram in Hinduism is the most divine image of Rama-Rajya, the ideal state, the Darshana of which makes a devotee feel as if they are the Praja (children) of Maryadapurushottama. In this oil painting, Sri Rama and Maa Sita sit on a royal Simhasana (throne embellished with lions), surrounded by the siblings of Sri Rama. Lakshmana and Shatrughna stand behind the throne and Lord Hanuman and Bharata sit near the feet of Rama, bowing to him with their heart full of pure devotion.
