The artist has modeled the form of this multiple headed Ganesha in a powerful manner. His numerous hands carry various attributes. The crowns on the heads are not very ostentations & he is sparsely ornamented. There is an arch of fire around him that contains the pyramid of Ganesha Heads. Solid black and red colours of the arch take the multi-colours of the Ganesha in its fold. Pusti, painted in flaming red sits on Ganesha's waist. The expression on her face is that of quiet and calm.
The foreground is crimson; excessive use of the colour in the entire composition gives the work a flaming quality. Juxtaposition with different shades of ochre in the background brightens up the effect.
