Call her Namgyalma or Ushnisha Vijaya, she is respected for her ability to erase bad karma, especially that which arises from taking a life. Typically represented with three faces, this represents the ability to dissolve obstacles and cure all illnesses in the three areas. Her eight limbs and white central head represent her ability to act empathetically on several levels simultaneously, indicating her power to stop catastrophes.
The yellow face represents her ability to provide longevity, while the blue face represents her prowess in vanquishing monsters. The third eye on her forehead stands for her desire, empathy, and ability to see all suffering. Her nine eyes represent her accomplishment of the nine degrees of enlightenment as well as her capacity to guide us toward liberation.
