National award winner Tulsi Das Vimbark has painted his utmost skills of perfection and imagination in this water color painting on paper. He depicts the scene when Lord Hanuman carries the heavenly Sanjeevni Booti in his hand to cure Lakshman from the severe wound occurred during the battle against Ravana.
The painter has painted this in realistic designs and colors on a black background symbolizing night time, when the battle for the day is done and Lord Hanuman carrying the green grassy mountain by his left hand, painted in accurate shape along with colorful flowers that bloom at the bottom. When you zoom in you will see the hairy texture of Bajrang Bali’s skin which is exclusive in itself.
Garbed in bright colors- narangi short dhoti, an elegant blue kamarband along with deep pink stole having white motifs; not only the colors, even the borders are painted luxuriously giving a three-dimensional look of zari embroidery and studded pearls. By the time you get off you focus from attires, you will be captured by the exorbitant kundan and pearl jewellery and a similar richly ornamented gada of multiple layers of colorful stones held in his right hand. The marvellous haloed crown of extreme beauties justifies his glorious and obeying nature, as can also be seen by the realistic expression of his eyes and gestures of his face.
