The Goddess of wealth, Shri Lakshmi Devi resides on a blooming lotus in a padmasana posture in her divine chaturbhuja form, holding sacred lotuses in both the upper right and upper left hands and the lower right and lower left hands symbolise the showering of bliss and fortune. She wears a ravishing red saree which consists of zari work all over as polka dots. She has adorned a blue colored blouse with a stunning golden crown attached with majestic aureole over her head which is looking gorgeous and the golden border of the saree adds a nicelooking effect to the dress. The Goddess wears graceful maang tika of pearl as well as gold necklaces along with an alluring flower garland in the front. The stone work on the blouse sleeve’s golden border and the gold bangles in the hands having a pearl work on both the sides symbolizes that Lakshmi Ji wants to provide pleasure to her husband Lord Shri Vishnu and want to see her lover happy from her shringar. She has a fair and whitish complexion which is winsome. Her hairs are gently managed which is an appealing feature.
The background is totally dark, symbolises that in front of Lakshimi’s beauty the nature’s beauty is very dull. Her lotus seat along with three gold utensils are floating on water. One bowl collects her fortune’s shower and other two are filled with the eatables offered to her as a bhoga. The shiny moon-like aureole behind her head is totally astonishing which adds an highlight to this masterpiece.
