The kalachakra is translated to “Wheel of time” or “Time-cycle” in Sanskrit and is symbolized by a complex mandala representing the universe and its dimensions. It is renowned for its role in promoting peace and understanding among different cultures and faiths. The deity has four faces: a wrathful black or blue on the middle, a lustful red on the right, a peaceful white on the left, and a meditative yellow on the back of the blackhead. His twenty-four hands have three different colors- eight yellow, eight red, and eight blue, each of them holding different symbols and items. His body is blue but his right leg is red and his left is white dancing in an Alidha posture. As he is portrayed as wrathful, he is portrayed on the top of red Ananga and Rudra’s bodies.
