Vajrasattva lives on the Sambogakaya level. In full vajra stance, he sits atop an eight-petalled multicolour lotus. His body is as white and bright as a snow mountain illuminated by a thousand suns.
He is gilded in golden ornaments. He is usually shown with an ideal Vajra in his right hand at heart level and a silver bell lying on his left leg in his left hand. Vajrasattva, the Buddha of Primordial Purity, is committed to negative purification.
Vajrasattva practise in Tibetan purifies all obscuration; particularly those related to broken order and transgressed vows. Simply hanging the Buddha Vajrasattva thangka on your wall has the benefit of purifying and cleaning your mind, body, and soul.
In Buddhism, foundation practise is commonly conceived of as the process of purging impediments, misunderstandings, and negative karmas, as well as producing In Buddhism, merit. In the end, even generating merit is a form of purification. When Vajrasattva acquired full Buddhahood, he said, “May all creatures be purified of their obscurations, negative acts, and profound darkness of ignorance merely by hearing my name, seeing my form, thinking of me, or reciting the mantras that bear my name".
