Lord Vishnu's Kurma (Tortoise) Avatar is a well-known incarnation. During the Sagar Manthan (sea churning), Lord Vishnu seized the Kurma roop and balanced Mount Mandara on its back. This chowki, a traditional seating object, is the finest piece to be illustrated with a tortoise. This chowki is made of premium brass and features a blossomed flower in the centre surrounded by Bael Buta motifs. Despite the creative decorations, the scales on a tortoise are shown as little dots. The animal's feet are mounted on four stands and are shown being bitten by parrots. With all these unique features, this brass chowki will get a lot of attention. It is one of the perfect combinations of tradition, tale, and utility.
