Richly adorned, this designer wooden temple has the marvelous elements of the ancient Mandapam, or the hall of a Hindu temple as its inspiration. The wooden Mandir brings with us the culturally enriched history of Mandapams, which are associated with the architecture of the Mandir or temple as sacred spaces, where all primary rituals take place.

The wooden temple has a beautifully crafted Shikhara with gorgeous floral vines flowing all over and the Kalasha or pot-like structure at the top adds a sacred symbol to the sculpture. Sinuously curving vines etched on the Shikhara create delicate imagery which continues on the entire Mandir. Standing on four pillars, the Shikhara provides a shed with a polished surface, perfect and pure space for Puja. Four miniature bells hanging from the roof, remind us of the Ghanta, or big bells of Mandirs, which create magnificent and soul-stirring sounds.
In a distinctive change in the imagery, the temple is held by four swans or Hamsa, which symbolize the powerful ability to separate milk from water, as evidence of their heavenly wisdom. Beautifully carved drawers, add a balance of utility and artistic appeal to the Mandir. Polished stunningly and crafted carefully, this wooden temple is an appealing addition to your space, one which will amplify the positive vibrations of your home.
