Is the first leaf of the spring season having sharp green smell with a mildly astringent taste. The liquor is very clear and lively upon infurian the leaf has a prominent lime green brightness and a floral scent produced in small quantities.
For a Perfect Cup
Boil Fresh water in Kettle. Wash tea pot with warm water and add one heaped tea spoon per cup & one extra for the pot. Pour boiled water into pot & let leaf infuse for 3 to 5 minutes to secure full flavour. Stir filter & best enjoyed plain but additives like sugar milk Lemon etc. may be used as per individual taste or preferences & sip in the goodness of tea.
