This movie is about the ‘divine’ games played by the Almighty Lord Shiva (Shivaji) to bless his devotees and to reform the wicked. There are four episode depiciting the divine games. The first episode deals with the lord trying to help a poor poet (Nagesh) and incidentally test his another devotee’s (Nakkeeran) love for the Tamil Language. The second episode Lord’s ‘game’ to punish Dakshan (O.A.K. Thevar) and the goddess herself for defying him. The third episode is about the Lord helping the fisherman to capture a shark and a retrieving his consort Uma (Savithri) who lives there as a fisherwoman due to the lords ire. The fourth and last episode deals with the Lord helping a devotee (T.R. Mahalingam) to get over form a difficult situtation of competing with an exponent of classical music (T.S. Balalah) through his divine game.
