About the CD
The meaning of Krishna sharanam mam is 'I am surrendered to Lord krishna'. The root meaning of this mantra is that I am situated at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. Other mantras compiled with 'Sharanam Gachhami or 'Sharanam Gachhati' indicates that I have gone to the shelter of the Lord....... This mantra's origin is from 'Pushti Margiya Vallabhasampradaya', started by Acharya Vallabhacharya. In Bhagwat Gita Lord Krishna himself clarifies like this

Engage your mind always in thinking of me, become my devotee, offer obeisance to me and worship me. Being completely absorbed in me, surely you will come to me.

But those who always worship me with exclusive devotion, meditating on my transcendental form - to them I carry what they lack, and I preserve what they have.
