Krishna was never born but we celebrate his birthday. Yet he is born, and that is the fun! It is said that Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva. Vasu means breath, the prana, Devaki means the body. You see Krishna is always depicted in blue colour. It means the body is so transparent it is though it is not there. It means it is not just the physical body, but inside is infinite, like the sky.
