This is the unusual story of Kajal (Sreedevi), happily married to an engineer, Raj (Anil Kapoor), with two children, a son and a daughter. But she misses and craves for the status of a high society lady, which she believes only money can bring. When Jahnvi (Urmila Matondkar), a rich girl who thinks everything can be bought, walks into Raj’s life events take a dramatic turn. Jahnvi bargains with Kajal for her husband! And the lure of money works! Jahnvi and Raj, live as husband and wife, while Kajal begins enjoying her new found wealth and status. Loneliness jealousy creep in Kajal finds that she has not bargained for this. What can she do?
