Each composition has been chosen and interpreted by her in an attempt to share the meaning and beauty of these wise words with the listener. Main Nara-E-Mastana is a kalaam that glorifies the moment when all becomes one with God. Pritam Mat Pardes and Jis Din Ke Saajan are renditions that plead with beloved not to abandon the lover with lyrics that pulsate with love and longing for the beloved. The poetry and music here transcend the emotion of human love for a love of a higher order. A love that is felt only for Khuda or God a love in which the Sufi loses himself completely. This divine love can also be experienced in Tu Ne Deewana Banaaya which addresses god as the ultimate love and the ultimate lover and in Hum ki Pasand Yaar ki, Ajab Nain Tere and Hairan Hua which praise the lord who means everything to a sufi. When understood thus she feels this music enguifs one in the Noor or the Divine light of God and all else ceases to exist.
It is her belief that Sufi music can be truly understood for what it is only if it is listened to with the heart of a Sufi with this belief she carries a loving conversation with her beloved God with lyrics and music that explore the multitude of emotion experienced by a sufi in the pursuit of God and can be rightly interpreted only by a true Sufi like Begum Abida Parveen.
