The central rectangular area comprises of an exquisite arch under which Radha and Krishna stand, overlooking a lotus pond with swans and lotus flowers. The beasts and the gopis look equally bemused and mesmerized with the love play of the two. The artist perceives Krishna in a black body tone. On the right is a smaller rectangular block, which depicts the episode where Krishna swipes the clothes of the gopis who had gone to the river to bathe. He forces them to come out naked to fetch back their clothes. Krishna used to play many such pranks on the unassuming gopis.
On the left is Krishna dancing on the hood of Kaliya, the python who was polluting the waters of river Yamuna. Krishna subjugates him in the fight that ensued between the two. The nagapatnis can be seen here requesting Krishna to spare Kaliya's life.
