Vishnu, one of the gods from Trinity (Trimurti) is known as the Preserver. His consort is Lakshmi, known as goddess of wealth and grace.

In this painting, Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi seated on Garuda his Mount (Vahana). Lord Vishnu is properly jewelled and carrying all his attributes in his four hands. They are Shank (Conch), Chakra (Wheel/Disc), Gada (Mace), Padam (Lotus). He is wearing decorated crown (Kiritmukuta) with lotus petals, long white flower garland (Vejayantimala) and orange lower garment. On his next, Goddess Lakshmi adorning with white pearls necklace, nose-ring and earrings. She is wearing plain green blouse (Choli), orange striped skirt (Lehenga) with plates and transparent odhani with golden border over her dress. Both are looking at each other.

The Garuda (Mount of Vishnu) flying above the ground. He is having green parrot body and red coloured beak instead of Eagle (The Garuda). He has human like hands (in place of legs) and ears.  He is holding snake in one hand as his food and other hand is straight on the way he is flying. 

The painting has background of sky with green fields.
