Miss Jasbir Kaur Ahuja is a well known writer whose "Sister Nivedita" was adjudged the best in children's literature by the Punjab Education Department.
She has written a number of Biographies in Punjabi, which include two biographies of Swami Vivekananda (one published by the Punjab Languages Department for children), Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Holy Mother Sri Sarda Devi. She is now translating into Punjabi the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. The first volume of this translation has been released. She has also translated into Punjabi two s of Revered Swami Ranganathanandaji Mahraj, namely Swami Vivekananda: His Humanism and Swami Vivekananda on Guru Gobind Singh. Her recent work is the translation of Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Addresses delivered in 1893.
