Yoga is a science which has its basis in ancient Indian philosophy. Offering a holistic approach to day-to-day living, it has become highly relevant in modern-day fast-paced living. Yoga develops stamina, balances the breath, calms the mind, stabilizes and controls the emotions to bring inner equilibrium and happiness. Asana, or physical posture, the most well known aspect of yoga, is the third of eight steps which make up the entire discipline of yoga. This book brings to the reader fifty-two out of the hundred common asana of yoga, each made easy through step-by-step instructions and vivid photographs so that even a beginner can learn to master the art.
