About The Book

This book entitled "Women Wrestling in India" is based on women wrestling, it contains latest wrestling rules, techniques, history of wrestling, importance of diet, women problems and its remedies and most important, the achievers of the game. In this book we tried to cover some vital topics which are essential for women wrestlers, and helpful for parents to understand about equality of boys and girls.
The present book has been written with the primary aim, to beginner. Women Wrestlers, parents and society to understand about equality and to help in Indian Prime Minister's mission "Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao". Authors are hopeful that this book will also be helpful in this mission "Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao and Beti Khilao". This book will be very effective for rising women wrestlers, teachers, physical educationist, coaches and parents.

Name: Dr. Suresh Kumar Malik Date of Birth: 08/01/1968 Qualification: B.A, B.Ed, M.A. in Physical Education, NIS (Wrestling) Ph.D, NET, SLET.

Personal Achievements:

1. Indian Women jr. Wrestling Team Coach in Jr. Asian Championship held at South Korea From 8 to 12 june 2005 and team got 2nd position. 2. Indian Jr.Greco Roman Team Coach in Jr. Asian championship held in Ulaanbatar Mongolia 5 to 8 June 2014. 3. Ind Position in Jr. National Wrestling Championship. 4. four times Participation in All India Inter University Wrestling Championship. 5. International Wrestling Coach. 6. Elected member of Court M.D.U. Rohtak for three years. 7. Ex. elected member of Executive Council M.D.U. Rohtak.
Mrs. Shakuntla Devi Beniwal is presently working as Deputy Director Sports in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. (Haryana). She has a practically rich and long experience of twenty-one years of organization and administration of various Sports activities, specially women sports of university and inter - university / National level games / competitions. She is Ph.D. in Physical Education.
