VS Mani (born 1959) is well- R nown as a whistle-blower in the take Hindu Terror' case foisted by the then UPA government leading up to 26/11 and other terror cases, including the Ishrat Jehan case, during his posting as Under Secretary in the Union Home Minister between 2006-2010. When the 26/11 attack happened, he was handling the control room of the Home Ministry. His allegation that the attack of 26/11/ 2008 in Mumbai was a fixed match between people sitting in the top echelons of the government and forces inimical to India, also stood validated in book written by senior IPS officer, who investigated 26/11 case. His fight against false Hindu Terror cases were successful and validated by courts. He took voluntary retirement in 2018, when he was posted in the Union Ministry of Textiles.

He is also Vedic scholar, Vedic astrologer, and is well- versed with the knowledge systems of Sanatan heritage.

I fondly recall the memory of an erudite person in my family circle who was an Archaeologist by profession. He was Late Mr. G. Ramachandran. He had retired in 1980s. We used to meet in family events and oblivious to each other's profession we used engage in dialogues in which he would share with me his experiences of working on conservation of many archival sites in Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Kedar Gowri Temple in Odisha, Churches of Goa and several archaeological sites. During our long recluse discussions, he used to advise me that seeking knowledge should be exploratory. One should not be bogged down by hypothetical pre-conceived notions. This is a vice that will lead to all your pursuit of knowledge looking for only those elements which validate your pre-conceived notions or hypothesis, he would tell me. This got ingrained in my system.

After taking voluntary retirement from long challenging innings in the service of Government, I set about exploring why in many cases there was a gap between what is written, in any form, and the reality. I also began the pursuit of my passion for looking at various issues relating to the nation from the perspective of reality, with an open mind, and not bogged by the constraints of any hypothesis. As a sequel, I wrote many blogs and article. The popular Zee Media Group (Essel Media) was kind enough to publish many of my articles in the group sites like the Zee, WION and DNA. Many of these articles are very much available in these group media entities mostly under the name of Surakshamani. Indeed, the PGurus group also did publish quite a few of these articles. I also had the opportunity of interaction with Goa Chronicle, a new emerging media Group.

What is salient about these articles and blogs is that many of these are being proven true as time rolls along. My first blog on de-mystification of Article 370 and the possibility of it being abrogated with a Cabinet Resolution has been proven true. My article on stubble burning and the conspiracy behind has been validated. The Human trafficking angle behind Nikah Halala was validated by a post in India Today.

Hence, I decided to compile these articles with the help of Garuda Prakashan. My friends in Garuda Praksahan like Prashant Pandey and Ankur Pathak have been very meticulous in compiling these and putting it in the form of book.
