It is a scientific fact that all atoms combine with one another simply to become innert, to be satisfied i.e to be complete. In the same way, man who is made of billions of atoms has a inherent nature and tendency to attain innertness and total satisfaction. Man goes on experimenting with one and another object till he gets total satisfaction. When he finds it not in the worldly objects and achievements he turns towards religion and spirituality which gives an assurance of total satisfaction and perfection. We have none to quote in the field of the world, kings or queens, millionnares or billionnares, conqueror or adventurer who can claim to attain the supreme but in field of spirituality we have examples of Buddha and Mahavir, Guru Nanak and Kabir whose life is an expression of total satisfaction and bliss.

Threrfore, to whatever sect, to whatever religious groups we go we find concepts like heaven, salvation etc. Because the evolution, the optimum limit, the goal of a man has been defined as salvation, as the stage of supreme consciousness, as the state of 'samadhi, where the experience of perfection and totality becomes a reality.
