Born in 1979, Devendra Kumar Awasthi completed his post-graduation in Science and MBA from Meerut University. He has been working for the Central government for the last 12 years.
He has written this book with an intention to infuse zeal and motivation in the heart of those, who want to rise to the occasion and live a life of fulfilment.
Iwrote my first poem when I was in seventh class. It was about rain and clouds. Later, when I became father, and my son was a toddler, I started writing poems so that I could engage my son whenever he used to be in my lap. However, those poems were simple rhyming, sonorous to the ears of my son.
Last ten years were very hectic, as I was busy with my job and familial responsibilities. So, there was not much time to let the mind be free and create something satisfying. However, one early morning, when I was on my morning walk in nearby woods, some interesting line in rhythm and rhyme came into view and I just noted them down in my mobile phone.
