To know about remedies and how remedies work, first we must understand Karma and its types. The meaning of the word Karma is deeds, acts, or actions. Cause and effect is the principle behind Karma. According to the Vedantic scriptures, good Karma produces Punya which results in happiness; on the other hand, bad Karmas produces Paap, which results in suffering. Vedic astrology is based on the concept of Karma. According to the Hindu and Buddhist philosophies, the soul or the Atman reincarnates in various forms and Karma is the key factor which decides the fate of the soul. The accumulated results of the acts done by the soul in its various incarnations is called Karmic debts. The horoscope is the snapshot of the Karmic debts. Planets, signs and the dasha deliver the good and bad fruits of one's Karma.
There are three types of Karmas mentioned in the Vedic scriptures, these are: Sanchita Karma, Prarabdha Karma, and Agami Karma. Sanchita Karma is the total amount of karma accumulated by the soul throughout its various incarnations. The results of a portion of the Sanchita Karmas or accumulated Karmic debts, which will be faced by a person in the present called Prarabdha Karma. The Karmas accumulated by a person in this life, the results of which will be faced by the person in his next birth or this birth is called Agami Karmas.
A person is destined to experience the fruits of the Prarabdha in this present lifetime. The fructification of these Karmas depends upon the sequence of Dasha the native gets during the present incarnation and on the transit of planets. The Prarabdha cannot be changed through remedies, a person is destined to experience the fruits of Prarabdha. By the grace of the almighty and due to the extreme noble deeds in the present life, sometimes the severity of the sufferings gets reduced.
