This book "Understanding the Divine Mysteries" is a combined publication of two great spiritualists works Homi S. Spencer's The Mysteries of God in the Universe and his cousin brother Yogi Minocher K. Spencer's Divine Discourses and Poems both of which had been initially published by the then Spiritual Healing centre, Coimbatore over 50 years back. They were widely appreciated by enlightened readers and the press because of their spiritually enlightening and uplifting contents and beauty of their style.

Since the closure of the Spiritual Healing Centre in 1965 and the death of these two great spiritualists these books have remained out of print for long. Now with the present editor having associated himself with the book- it is being placed before you once again.

It is earnestly believed and hoped that the readers will be immensely benefited by this beautiful book on Spirituality. It will promote boundless optimism and strength to face the present world and the after world.

Since the closure of the Spiritual Healing Centre in 1965 and the death of these two great spiritualists these books have remained out of print for long. Sri Aiyer, Secretary of the Spiritual Healing Centre, as copyright holder for these books had authorized Sri A. Somasundaram, Divine Centre, Markapur (A.P.) to get them published and the latter in turn has authorized me to get them published after due editing.

I have pleasure in being associated with these valuable books as editor and in getting them published on behalf of the Sai Divine Research Centre, Faridabad, which has been established by us as an extension of Sri A. Somasunderams' DIVINE CENTRE at Markapur-both these centres being involved in carrying forward the mission of the Spiritual Healing Centre to spread spiritual knowledge.

We express our gratitude to the great souls of H.S. Spencer and Yogi M.K. Spencer and Aiyer who had blazed the Trail of Spiritual awakening in India in the 1940s and 1950s under the benevolent guidance of the Spirit Master Rishi Ram Ram. Grateful thanks are due to Swami Amritanandaji, Spirit Guide of the world presently, and Sri A. Somasunderamji.

Preface

The Laws of God are so many mysteries to so many yet. The Laws of Reincarnation and Karma are a part and Parcel of them. But none of these mysteries can be understood without understanding the Fundamental Principles of Spiritual philosophy which lie at the root of them all. They are meant to explain the condition of LIFE both in the Visible and Invisible Worlds and thus help forward the Realization of SELF and the SELF of all INDIVIDUAL SELVES. This little volume is therefore written as an humble effort to help understand such of the Mysteries of God as would help to understand the mysteries of Reincarnation and Karma which are a part and parcel of the teaching of the great Prophets of the great Monotheistic religion of the world today.

Enough positive evidence has accumulated so far in support of the facts of Reincarnation and Karma and it all goes to show the correctness of the underlying Fundamental Principles of Spiritual Philosophy. If this volume helps its readers to understand and realize the Real SELF within each and through the INDIVIDUAL SELF to realize the ABOSULTE SPIRIT-the GOD WITHOUT-this humble effort will have been more then rewarded. May it be so by the Grace of God, is the humble prayer of the author.

About the Author

Prof. S.P. Ruhela is an eminent sociologist of education, he holds the degrees of M.A. (Sociology), PhD (Sociology), D.Litt. (Sociology) and M.Ed. and has also Certificate in commonwealth Education. He has contributed more than 30 books and over 100 papers and articles. He has been head and Dean of Education at the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Presently, he is Professor of Education in the Institute of Advanced studies in Education in the Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
