I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of my Guru Mahārāja, Śrīla Gopala Krsna Gosvami, who mercifully enganged me in the devotional service of Krsna. I also offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupāda who flooded this world with Krsna's devotion and presented the suffering souls of this world with Goloka's wealth, that is the holy names of Krsna. He distributed the message of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu - the most magnanimous incarnation of Lord Krsna to everyone without any discrimination. The purpose of Caitanya's appearance was to preach the devotional service of Krsna in every town and village and help everyone realise that Krsna is our real well-wisher.
Everyone is searching for the ultimate happiness and peace in this mortal world birth after birth. But actually the reservoir of such real happiness and peace is Krsna. Hence everyone is searching for Krsna. If one wants to obtain Krsna, one has to associate with His pure devotees. It is said in the scriptures and by a Gaudiya Vaisnava, Śrīla Narottama dāsa Thākura - "Thākura Vaisnava-pada avanīra su-sampada'. The devotees of Krsna are the real treasure on this earth. By associating with these devotees, one can very easily attain love of Godhead, Krsna.
To give His association, Krsna appears on the earth in various forms or He sends His dearmost devotees on the earth. Krsna and His devotees appear on the earth out of their own sweet will and return back to Vaikuntha - the transcendental world after their mission is fulfilled. They do not have any selfish motive in appearing on the earth. The only purpose they appear for is to liberate the conditioned souls from the cycle of birth and death.
