Tarkasangraha is a primer to the novice people while getting entry into the Indian Philosophy in general and Navya Nyaya Philosophy and language in particular. The study of this text prepares the reader to understand basic s of Nyaya school of thought as well as the Navya concepts of Nyaya technical language. However to create a perfect foundation in using or employing the Navya Nyaya Technical Language, some detailed exercises have been formulated in teaching tradition of Navya Nyaya. This comprises of may texts like Shabdabodha paraphrasing of Tarkasangraha text in Nyaya Technical language and Paribhashika- padartha-sangraha - A glossary on Technical terminology of Navya Nyaya etc. Such elementary textbooks help the students to understand the technical words and concepts and to get familiar with the technical language.
In the series of Nyaya Texts, this publication brings out the two works namely "Paribhashika padartha sangraha" by Kuruganti Ramashastry and "Shabdabodha paddhati". These two works are very important for the beginners in Nyaya studies. For many years these books were not available in print. The Paribhashika Padartha Sangraha gives a complete idea about the technical terminology of Nyaya without any scope for confusion or doubt. This is considered as an authentic work. The second part of this book is "Shabdabodha Paddhati" which is taught and tested for many decades in teaching tradition in Purnaprajna Vidyapeetha, Bangalore.
