In 2016 we published the first volume of the commentary and presented to respected Prof. Sultan Ahmed, Director of the Varendra Research Museum, Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He was too glad and inspired me to publish the rest portion of it. I felt proud when he phoned me and invited me to his country Bangladesh. Getting his inspiration we got strength and hope to get the rest portion of the manuscripts of the Tantrapradipa.
The present critical edition is based on 2 manuscripts, (i) Manuscript of the Cooch Behar Sahitya Sabha, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India and (ii) Manuscript of Varendra Research Museum, Rajshahi, Bangladesh.
First section of the 8th chapter of the Madhya-yr has 74 sutras but Maitreya did not comment upon all of them. He commented upon only 18 sutras (8.1.1-6, 8, 9, 12, 14-19, 24-26). The first section of the 8th chapter mainly deals with the rules of reduplication and accentuation.
