Let go of what bas passed! Let go of what may come! Let go of what is happening now! Don't try to figure anything out! Don't try to make anything happen! Relax right now, and rest!' Tilopa, the great master of Indian and Tibetan Tantra.
Tantra and esoteric Tantric Buddhism have their origins in Bengal. This is from where great masters such as Atisha and Mahasiddha Indian Tantrics such as Virupa and Tilopa began transmitting their teachings to Tibet, forming the very basis of Tantric Buddhism or Vajrayana. Both Hindu and Buddhist Tantra come from the same roots.
The deepest Indian and Indo-Tibetan tantric teachings both say one thing, have one central vision: to live harmoniously, blissfully, and fearlessly. Through that comes the ability to live past tough times, and realize the highest fulfilment and truth within this wondrous universe.
Fearless living is key to the ability to cope, and key to our very existence. All else follows from it: success, spiritual realization, calmness, mind-body-spirit wellness, harmony in relationships. This book distils and condenses the key principles for fearless living, avoiding the over-usage of jargon (which has kept knowledge of the subject obscure and inaccessible for most people). It crystallizes some of the greatest lessons from both Indian and Tibetan Tantric teachings, including from the gupt (secret/occult) ones, into a simple and straightforward format.
