Or, alternatively, that which is like Udaka or water to one scorched in the desert of transmigratory existence, that which acts like Parasu or axe to cut off the tree of rebirth, and that which shelters the weary traveller of the world of worries, like a Nilaya or house, and destroys (Sad = to destroy) his seed of transmigration is UPANISAD.
