This Pocket Guide is for the most part, a condensed version of the section entitled'The Nine Island' from Sri Navadvipa dhama and Other Prominent Holy Places of the Gaudiya Vaisnavas in Gauda-Mandala by Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, our beloved Srila Gurudeva. In that Book, his comprehensive and detailed description of Sri Navadvipa-dhama and the entire Sri Gauda-mandala contains numerous unique photos and elaborate maps.

In this pocket guide, we have marked with an asterisk any sections (Island) or paragraphs taken from the above mentioned book. Where the entire section is from Sri Navadvipa dhama and other Prominent Holy Places of the Gaudiya Vaisnavas in Gauda-mandala, we have put an asterisk next to the section heading. For examples: Sri Simantadvipa Where an isolated paragraphs is from this book, we have placed an asterisk at the end of paragraph.

The Black and white maps show the location of Sri Sri Kesavaji Gaudiya Matha in relation to other places in Sri Navadvipa dhama.

Srila Gurudeva's presentation of the superiority of Sri Navadvipa dhama is unique. it enhances our appreciation of the exalted nature of this holiest of places and our good fortune to touch the dust of this dhama. For this reason we have included one of his lectures on this topic.

I pray to Srila Gurudeva to bless this humble endeavour to distribute his teachings on Sri Navadvipa dhama. I humbly beg the readers to overlook any fault we may have made in this presentation.
