Thinker, writer and journalist Gulab Kothari is the Chief Editor of India's leading Hindi daily, Rajasthan Patrika.
Gulab Kothari is an eminent scholar of Vedas and also a student of Indian Philosophy. His contemplative writings always give a new meaning to them. His volume of poetry "Main hi Radha, Main hi Krishna" has been awarded Murtidevi Award by Bhartiya Jnanpeeth, the highest literary society of India. In the field of journalism, he has received many accolades including Bhartendu Harishchandra Award alongwlth Tulsi Samman and Swami Shri Vishnuteerth Award for his commendable and important contribution to character building and moral values.
In the year 1995, Gulab Kothari was awarded the Doctorate degree by the Intercultural Open University of the Netherlands for his thesis 'Newspaper Management'. In the year 2002 this university also awarded D.Litt. to him for his seminal work 'Body Mind Intellect'. He has recently awarded Ph.D by Central University of Nicaragua (2014) of his thesis Newspaper Management.
He has authored 30 books on various subjects in Hindi and English. Of them 'Sampreshan Avadharna our Swaroop', Nari, Spandan are considered highly significant. 'Aadya' and 'Spand' are collections of poetry. His four volume work 'Maanas' has been translated into English and ten other languages.
