About The Book The book Selected works of professor Vishwambhar Sharan Pathak is collection of the works of an eminent historian Professor Vishwambhar Sharan Pathak. It is well non fact that professor Pathak was a world class orator, historian, a great scholar and also a prominent etymologist. He had got his Ph.D. Under professor A.L Basham, Oxford university, London. He had worked with number of renowned scholars of the pre- independent era in the field of history culture and archaeology such as professor R.C Majumder, Professor A.S Alteker, and many more. He was much inspired by Acharya Narendra dev and had also spent sort time with him.

The works of Professor Pathak are brain storming and valuable for the researchers and students of ancient history and culture.

In the book, we have tried to arrange the papers written by Professor Pathak in different areas of historical, cultural, linguistics and numismatics studies. About the Author The author Dr. Rajesh Kumar Dhar Dubey have extra ordinary talent since his childhood. He was born on V. S 2027 Chaitra Shukla Dushami (16 April 1970) in a village named - Tilaura Pali Sahajanwa Gorakhpur UP India. Dr. Dubey did his P.G in Ancient History archaeology & culture. M.ed. and also Qualified NET and completed his Ph.D. from D.D.U Gorakhpur. He worked as research associate under and eminent scholar Professor Vishwambhar Sharan Pathak in IIAS, Shimla. He had also completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship awarded by ICHR, New Delhi. He had Published more that two dozens of research paper in national and international journals. He is the author of two important books of Ancient History culture and archaeology.
