The book has three sections; the first section describes the role of planets, signs, houses and nakshatras in politics. The author of this book, Dr. Deepak Singla, is a very well qualified and experienced Vedic astrologer, vastu consultant, spiritual healer and also a social activist. The author is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.H.c), which he received from the University of Swahili, Panama, in Central America.

In 2010, he founded an NGO in Chandigarh - the Anti-Corruption Crime Prevention Community Oriented Policing Society. He also founded the Indian Academy of Vedic Sciences in Chandigarh. There is no difference between the contemplation of your own Guru and the contemplation of infinite Lord Shiva. Indeed, chanting the name of your own Guru is as powerful as chanting the mantra of infinite Lord Shiva.

I have known Dr. Deepak Singla since many years. He is not only a good author, but a very good human being also. He has a heart full of compassion for those in need. The word Jyotish in Sanskrit consists of two words - Jyot' which means radiance and 'ish' meaning God. So put together as Jyotish, it means the radiance of God, which helps us understand life.

Jyotish (astrology) is one of the six Vedangs of the Vedas. In other words, it is one of the six essential prerequisites which one should master before attempting to study the Vedas.
