The present book revels the life and works of Rao Birender Singh and Ahirwal politics from 1952 to 1997. Year 1947 was an epoch making year in the Indian History. In that year, India got freedom from the yokes of British imperialism. After Rao Tula Ram, Rao Yudhister Singh, Rao Balbir Singh and Rao Birender Singh succeeded. Hence this period of political life of Rao Birender Singh is very important. An attempt has been made to present the developments of this period. Rao Birender singh was died in 30 sep 2009.
In this book undertakes to record the major political and biographical events that took place during the reign of Rao Birender Singh as second chief Minister and afterwards i.e. from 1952 to 2009. It is an important period in the history of Haryana. We should try to follow the path guided him as he inspires us till date.

He is an important leader born in the Ahirwal region of Haryana and played a great role in the Ahirwal Poltics. Rao Birender Singh was born and brought up in his early years of childhood at his native village, Nangal Pathaini. He spent around eight years at this village and received his early primary Education at the school located in it. After that, he shifted to Palwal along with his parents and passed Matriculation examination from Govt. High School, Palwal. He faced many problems and hardships during these days. He has been very intelligent right from his childhood.
He did Graduation from a prestigious collage i.e St. Stephen's collage Delhi. He joined the Army as a Captain after that. Then a remarkable change occurred in his life. It was a milestone to change the course of his life. Destiny awaited him for an important role in the field of politics. In 1945, Rani Nihal Kaur adopted him for the throne of Rampura House.
