She had a special place in her heart for those who die for their motherland. She wept heavily on the martyrdom of her spy Motibai. She hated the British extremely and it can be imagined from her words as said to Sardar Raghunath-'Not at any cost should British touch my dead body." And this even happened, the British were unable to touch her body.

Rani hated the British because of their intentions and motives. The British tried their every possible secret connivances to capture Jhansi. The Rani said by awaring them-'Jhansi is my pride. I cannot yield Jhansi to enemies till I'm alive".

To save Jhansi from the clutches of British Rani Laxmibai used her full strength. If her trusted ones had not joined hands with the enemies, no one could dare to touch Jhansi. Atlast Rani had to surrender her beloved Jhansi. She died for her motherland.

Rani Laxmibai's life is a source of inspiration for today's women who want to make their country proud.
