Education is a means of organizing the individual self and the social self into a disciplined stable and a meaningful identification. The impact of education on society can be studied by examining the extent to which the educational system of a given society performs its major function i.e. the socialization and transfer and advancement of knowledge the education system is expected to socialize the younger generation by developing desirable skills, knowledge, attitudes, values and behavior needed of the society. In any education system Teachers play an important role in making progress of society educational system and imparting the just meaning of education in younger generation.
The present book is an attempt to enlist the working condition and to study the psycho-social problems of teachers at school education level who are working in various Govt. & Private schools in Varanasi City. The book contains seven chapters. The first and second chapter unfolds the introductory information and reviewing leading researches of concerned field. The problem, objectives, hypothesis and research design of the present study has been detailed in third chapter. The fourth chapter contains the backgrounds of respondents, while the obtained data have been analyzed and interpreted in the fifth and sixth chapter to test the various hypothesis, besides a critical discussion of the yielded findings, results and conclusions along with problems and recommendation to improve working condition have been appended in the last chapter.
