Pushannekarse Yama Surya

O Fosterer, O sole Seer, O Ordainer, O illumating Sun, O power of the Father of creatures, marshal thy rays, draw to-gether thy light; the Lustre which is thy most blessed form of all, that in Thee I behold. The Purusha there and there, He am I.
The idea that the spirit is not to be seen or felt or understood, but is to be experienced in an intimate subjective (Anubhav) vis clearly brought out by the above declaration, God is not an inexperienceable non existence. God-hood is a positive state which can be lived and experienced, The wave that has realised itself understands and experiences the ocean. Experiencing God-hood becomes Brahman himself is the oft-repeated saying in the Upanishads.
The human birth, the desire for salvation and the company of the Great Souls these three are difficult to obtain in this world and depend on the mercy of the God. When God is extremely kind He grants human life. Human life is the only life which has been granted discrimination and freedom of action. Our discrimination (vivek) enables us to understand that man is being attracted, influenced and drawn by two opposite qualities selfishness and selflessness. The path of selflessness is beneficial to all to him, to his family, to his society, to his nation and to the whole humanity. But at most of the time one finds that he is not able to follow his own noble idea.
