The present book "Political Economy of BR Ambedkar" is a collection of research papers and articles.
Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was one of the very few Indians who struggled to restructure Hindu society with the most egalitarian and humanitarian principles. He advocated that without social and economic democracy political democracy is meaningless and impossible. There would be no peace and prosperity without these lofty goals. He waged a relentless struggle against social discrimination and economic oppression of Dalits. In fact, Ambedkar's whole life was a struggle and quest for social justice, an experiment with equity and social justice.

Dr. Jiwitesh Kumar Singh, a well known author in Economics, was awarded "Rashtriya Gaurav Award" from India International Friendship Society. He retired from BRA Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar) as a Professor and Head of Department in Economics. He also worked as a Professor Emirate in Lalit Narayan Mishra Management Institute, Muzaffarpur. His other books are: Regional Economics (1978), Labour Economics (1998), International Trade and Business (2011), Environmental Economics and Development (2004) and Economics of J.K. Mehta (2006).
Dr. (Mrs.) Sushila Kumari is Reader and Head of the Department in Political Science in Mahantha Darshan Das Women College, Muzaffarpur (Bihar). She has teaching experience of more than thirty years. Her essays, writings and research papers have already been published in different renowned magazines and journals. Her edited book in Hindi "Samajbad: Dasha Avam Disha" was greatly appreciated by various scholars.
