About the Author

Dr. Afsar Abbas is Professor at Institute of Physics (Government of India), Bhubaneswar. Besides philosophy of science, his research interests are in mathematical and theoretical particle physics, nuclear physics and cosmology.

(Theoretical Physics), Rutgers University, USA; Sir Charles Clore Postdoctoral Fellow, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel; Assistant Professor, Institute of Nuclear Phusics, Technical University, Darmstadt, Germany; senior Scientist, Department of theoretical Physics, University of Manchester, UK; and since 1991 scientist at IOP, Bhubaneswar.
