Book Description
Foreword
My humble pranamas to Shri.Bhagat Singh Koshiyari Sir, The Hon'ble Chancellor of KKSU and Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra!

These words fill us with so many mixed feelings. So many cuds of memories to reminisce! I deem it my high privilege to have been a direct witness of all the days of struggle and success of KKSU. We, of KKSU, have grown along with this great institute and have created a satisfactory recognition along with this historical institution through these years.

On this sacred occasion of "Silver Jubilee" celebration of KKSU in the year 2022, I remember with utmost respect and would like to put on record the unforgettable contribution of great leaders who have created a magic in the form of this Sanskrit University in the state of Maharashtra.

Introduction
Sanskrit, being a classical language, is rich in its contents. It is the store-house of ancient wisdom inherited from sages, philosophers, and thinkers. Indians had established a very rich cultural and social heritage. Sanskrit is the most resourceful language, which preserves ancient Indian thought, knowledge, wisdom, and cultural heritage as well. Dharmasastra texts occupy a prominent place in Sanskrit literature. The term Dharma is one of the most complex expressions which cannot be defined or explained precisely. It is derived from the root dharayati (10 p.p.) as dharaṇat dharmaḥ which means to uphold or to support or to preserve etc. It refers to the right or proper conduct and it covers English concepts such as ordinance, law, usage, customary observance, morality, duty, obligation, religion, attribute, and quality. In Pali also the term dhamma signifies natural law, world order etc. In Buddhism the term denotes truth, knowledge, morality, and duty.
