This is the english translation and revised version of a very interesting book "Nidana Panchaka" laden with wonderful original concepts of late Vaidya Shri Shivacharana Dhyani ji. It is illuminating to read this book to understand the deep concepts in such a simple words and to be able to picturize it in the mind. What is the role of nidan in the development of the disease, what kind of doshas cause disease, what is the difference between roga and lakshana, elaboration on the concepts of Khavaigunya and Srotodushti etc. are some of the important concepts elaborated in this book very simplisticallly. This book is a must read, at least once for all the undergraduate and post graduate scholars of Ayurveda. It will help to clear many concepts and also ignite the development of new concepts in the readers.
