Jyothisa Acharya, Smt. Prof. Satya Sree R is the granddaughter of Guruji Sri NV Raghavachary (Meena2) and daughter of Dr. NVRA Raja (Meena2 Jr.) She is from a family of well-known Naadi astrologers and has mastered Naadi astrology with the blessing of Guruji NVR(Meena2). She did her BE(EEE) from Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad and PGDM(HRM) from XIMB, Bhubaneswar, MA (Vedanga Jyotisha) and Ph.D. (Vedanga Jyotisha) from Yoga Samskrutham University, Florida USA. She has got a deep commitment towards Meena2 Naadi system with guidance from her father Dr. NVRA Raja who did great research in astrology and published many books on Meena2 Naadi System. Apart from profound interest in astrology, she has a flair for teaching Naadi astrology. She has participated in many seminars and delivered thought provoking lectures. She is also the founder trustee of JKR Astro Research Foundation (Charitable Trust) committed to teaching and spreading astrology free of cost.

Dr. Satya Sree R has exemplarily explained the concept of Nakshatra Digbala and was awarded doctorate for this thesis from Yoga Samskrutham University, Florida USA. She has derived from the Kalamsa Gunas concept and has applied the Gunas theory into Nakshatra Digbala. ala. She has lucidly explained in tabular form, how a planet or bhavathipathi getting Nakshatra Digbala and Gunas, get modified. One of the highlights of the explanation is that even though a planet is debilitated, if it gets Nakshatra Digbala with good guna and Yogakaraka connection, then that bhavathipathi delivers excellent results. She has mastered this concept through extensive research on Digbala and has given predictive tools to analyse charts. A very useful book for everyone to decode a horoscope using Naadi principles.

I feel the greatest privilege in bringing out this book on "Nakshatra Digbala and Gunas" based on Meena 2 Naadi principles. It has been possible only with the blessing of Param Pujya Guruji Sri NV Raghavachary (Meena 2), the founder of Meena 2 Nakshatra Siddhantham. Guruji Meena 2 was a Siddha purusha and pioneer of Nakshatra Siddhantham. He used to be able to arrive at accurate predictions just by touching a horoscope. Such was his power! I am indeed blessed to be his grand-daughter and to have had the great fortune of playing in his lap during his last years.

Sri. R Gopalakrishna Row (Meena 1) and Guruji Sri. N V Raghavachary (Meena2) founded the Meena Naadi system. Later, Guruji Meena 2 travelled extensively across several Naadi centres in South India and after a deep research over 60 years, he brought out the Meena 2 Nakshatra Siddhantham. He has elucidated many wonderful principles in his work "Practical Stellar Astrology" which is considered as the Bhagavad Gita of Nakshatra Siddhantham. Every page of the book contains many valuable Sookshma Naadi principles which have redefined several conventions in astrology.

Nakshatra Digbala and Gunas, the name of the title itself is very unique in Astrology. Dr. Satya Sree R needs no introduction to astro lovers. She is the granddaughter of Guruji Sri. NV Raghavachary (Meena2) who is the founder of Meena2 Naadi system, a Bhagavad-Gita in Nakshatra Siddhantham. She did her PhD in Nakshatra Digbala and Gunas and brought out unique concepts to arrive at predictions and also to analyse the strength of a Bhava or Karaka.

The concept of Digbala mentioned in Vedic astrology is linked to the planets and occupation of 1,4,7,10 houses whereas in Meena 2 Naadi system, Guruji introduced Nakshatras and associations to identify Digbala. She has taken some thoughts from how I linked Gunas and Kalamsa and has introduced Gunas into Nakshatra Digbala. She has brought out some beautiful principles linking Digbala and Gunas to identify or assess the strength of a Bhava or Karaka. One such principle is 'When trikonas are well fortified and connected through Digbala with good guna, the native attains great prominence in life".

While I was going through her thesis, I observed that she has applied Practical Stellar Astrology principles for each Bhava and related events. All analyzed charts are very interesting and it may kindle your interest to study Meena 2 Naadi system. So far, even in Vedic astrology, no one has given a detailed study on Nakshatra Digbala. I appreciate Dr. Satya Sree for her hard work to present her thesis to all astro lovers. Analyzed charts contain prominent events and technical details. Guruji Sri. N V Raghavachary always used to state that planet processing Digbala has to be given importance while analyzing a horoscope. This is a great effort put by Dr. Satya Sree to prove how Nakshatra Digbala modifies the events of a native.
