About the Book "Mysticism without Bounds" explores the Interdisciplinary as a way of naming the phenomenon of crossing-over boundaries that mysticism makes possible. Scientists and researchers reveal that certain common grounds do exist among the various forms of consciousness, scattered among the world's religions, theologies, sciences, philosophies, and art forms. The discovery of such points of convergence among religions, sciences, and philosophies on 'mysticism' is intellectually very exciting and it holds out the possibility of creating a new worldview in which these disciplines would be seen as distinct yet complementary ways of exploring the same underlying reality. The present volume ignites an awareness about Mysticism' embracing various realms of human thought, like-Timelessness with Time, Everyday Spirituality, Human Transcendence, Economic Life, Medical Materialism, Yogic Interpretation, Mystical Enthusiasm, Contemporary Scientific Views, and Theology.

The book is a collection of keynote/research papers presented at the International Conference "Mysticism without Bounds" (MwB) with the sole motive to create awareness of the essential unity of humanity irrespective of any social barrier. The author hopes that they will help the inquisitive readers and lovers of truth in discovering this essential unity so as to work for the good of the humanity.

About the Author Dr. Kurian Kachappilly is the Professor of Philosophy and Religion at the DVK, Bangalore, India; and Associate. Director, Research Centre, Christ University, Bangalore, India. He holds Master's Degrees in English Literature and Psychology, and a Licentiate and Doctorate in Philosophy from the Katholieke Universities Leuven, Belgium. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Bangalore University, Bangalore; Katholieke Universities Leuven (KUL), Belgium; Fakultat fur Informatics & Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wurzburg, Germany; the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, the Philippines; and other institutions.

Dr. Kachappilly is a prolific writer with several books and many scientific articles to his credit. The two complementary volumes based on the International Conference 'Mysticism without Bounds' also appeared in 2013 titled, Mystic Musings in Art and Poetry and Mystic Musings in Religions. His major areas of research are 'Indian Roots of Process Philosophy', 'Whitehead and Philosophical Doctrines of Buddhism', 'Innovative Experiments in Pedagogy', 'Religion vis a vis Society', Inquiry into Religious Experience' and 'Corporate Social Responsibility'.
