In the last few years the world has witnessed tremendous progress in Science & Technology transforming social life in terms of material gains. This progress in material matters is, however, accompanied by a fall in the standards of public life. The vicious circle is that with money, politicians acquire power and with power acquire money. Money power and muscle power have totally distorted political life. Mafias and Gangsters are seeking to control public life in many countries.

India too has become a topic in the world on the issue of morality and ethics in public life today. It would be out of place to mention that these issues have become an intricate problem in many countries. Consequently, national character received drabbing and a undoubtedly, it is a matter of great concern for everybody.

The articles included in this book, not only highlight and express concern over the deterioration of moral and values in public life, but also made valuable suggestions too. These suggestions will certainly go a long way in maintaining standards of morality in public life.
