A mit is a serial entrepreneur-turned serial author, who has authored 13 books since April 2018, including eight No.1 bestsellers. Five of his books have been adapted in Hindi. He is also a current affairs columnist for a magazine and five news websites.

As a Mall Consultant, he planned and designed some of South India's largest malls, including India's largest mall - Sarath City Capital Mall in Hyderabad. He advised several international investors and consulted on the retail strategy for Mumbai International Airport Termial-2. As a Residential RE consultant, he planned and marketed apartments of 530-1350 square feet when the norm was 900-2300 square feet, thereby redefining the meaning of affordable.

While studying journalism in US, he was News Editor of the Weekly University Newspaper and was chosen "Journalist of the Year" in his very first year, and also received the "All American Journalist Award" from the American Scholastic Press Association. He also did a Journalism course at the prestigious Columbia University in New York.

Amit has also done two courses at Harvard Business School.

He has contributed four chapters in books on different subjects, more than 90 guest articles in various newspapers and magazines including The Economic Times, The Indian Express and DNA, as well as seven magazine cover stories.

He has over 25 years of work experience in the fields of journalism and communications.
